Days to Maturity: 72 days Heirloom Fruit Weight: 6 to 9 ounces Semi-Determinate Disease Resistance : VFA This plant produces sweet, uniform, globe-shaped, fruit. The fruit are excellent for slicing, sauce, and canning. The original 'Marglobe' released in 1925, was from a cross between 'Marvel' and 'Globe'. This selected strain has been improved for enhanced disease resistance. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods. All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146. Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.
