Pepper Plant, Thai Hot

Hot, Scoville Scale:  50,000 to 100,000, Days to Maturity:  75 to 80 days The one inch fruit begins green and ripen to bright red.  The very hot, thin-fleshed fruits are great in Oriental dishes.  The pepper originated in Thailand.  Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
