Pepper Plant, Cubanelle

Mild, Scoville Scale: 100-2500.  Days to Maturity:  65 days Italian frying type.  The thick-skinned fruit reach 5.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide.  The fruit have 2 to 3 lobes and begin green, turn yellow, and then red when fully ripe.  Excellent when fried. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
