    Hot, Scoville Scale:  30,000 to 50,000 Days to Maturity:  75 days The large hot fruit measures 5 inches long by 1/2 inch wide.  The peppers turn from green to red when mature.  Great for drying, sauces, and pickling. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
