Pepper Plant, Cayenne

Hot, Scoville Scale:  30,000 to 50,000. Days to Maturity:  70 to 75 days The fruit grows 4 to 6 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.  The fruit ripens from green to red.  High yields.  Excellent dried for powder or flakes, steep in oil, pickle, or fresh. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.
