Herb Plant, Mint Chocolate (Mentha piperita 'Chocolate Mint')

Height:  12 to 18 inches Full sun Hardiness Zone:  4 Uses: Culinary (research all plants before use) This mint has a light chocolate scent and flavor.  The foliage has a bronze tinge.  The plant produces pinkish-purple flowers that are edible.  Excellent for garnishing, flavoring jellies, teas, and iced drinks. Plants are grown in 4.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods. All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.
