Herb Plant, Marjoram (Origanium majorana)

Height:  12 to 24 inches Spread:  12 to 18 inches Full sun Annual Herb Uses: Culinary, can be used fresh or dried. (research all plants before use) Sweet Marjoram is a compact plant.  It has a scent similar to oregano, but milder and sweeter.  It can be used as a substitute for oregano when making pizza or lasagna. The leaves can be used as a meat rub or for flavoring salad dressings, soups, and stews. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.
