Heliopsis h. 'Burning Heart'

Height: 36 - 48 inches Space: 24 inches  Full Sun  Blooming from July through September, orange and yellow bicolor flowers are highly contrasted by the dark purple foliage of this false sunflower. The height and contrast makes this ideal for perennial for the middle or back of the flower border. This North American native is pollinator friendly and a good cut flower. Drought tolerant, deer resistant, and suitable for poor soils. The plant is grown in 1  gallon pots.
