Eggplant, Black Beauty

Days to Maturity: 45 days Egg-shaped fruit that are 2 to 3 inches in size. Each plant produces 25 to 50 mild, sweet fruit. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots and 4-packs. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
