Eggplant, Shikou

80 days. Asian eggplant. Dark purple fruit that reach 6 to 8 inches in length. Excellent grilled. This plant is grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
