Days to Maturity:  80 days Heirloom Fruit Weight:  4 ounces Semi-Determinate This heirloom, paste tomato is great for canning, sauce, or drying.  The plum-shaped fruit have thick walls and grow 2 to 3 inches long.  Crack resistant.  Heavy producer.  The tomato originated in Italy. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
