Days to Maturity: 74 days Heirloom Fruit Size: up to 4" diameter Indeterminate This purple-black beefsteak can have fruit up to 4 inches in diameter. The fruit are very flavorful. The tomato seed originated in Russia and was named after the operatic artist who was an advocate of equal rights for blacks. The plant will set fruit at lower temperatures so it is an excellent choice for cooler climates. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods. All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.
