Pepper Plant, King Arthur (Fat N Sassy)

Sweet, Scoville Scale: <100. Days to Maturity:  65 to 70 days Disease Resistance :  PVY 0, Tm 0, TEV, and Xcv 2. Formerly known as Fat n' Sassy.  The sweet bell shaped fruit has 3 to 4 lobes.  The blocky thick walled fruit reaches 4.5 inches long by 4.5 inches wide. This pepper is great fresh, cooked, or stuffed.  Disease resistant. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
