Thymus praecox 'Coccineus'

Height: .25 ft.  Spread: .25 - 1 ft.  Full sun  Blooms with a deep pink flower in June - August. This plant is known as "Creeping Thyme". As the name suggests, it has fragrant leaves and makes a great groundcover. It is particularly good as a filler around stepping stones or in rock gardens. It is deer tolerant, drought tolerant, and tolerant of poor soils. It does best in sandy, well-drained soils. It is partially evergreen meaning that in mild winters, it can be evergreen.
