Pepper Plant, Habanero

Hot, Scoville Scale:  100,000 to 350,000 Days to Maturity:  90 days  Very hot!  The lantern-shaped fruit reaches 1 to 2 inches in length by 1 to 2 inches wide.  The fruit turns orange when ripe. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods. All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.  Photo courtesy of Ball Horticultural Co.
