Herb Plant, Basil 'Purple Ruffles'

Height:  16 to 20 inches Spread:  12 to 18 inches Full Sun Uses: Culinary and Aromatic, can be used fresh or dried. (Research all plants before use.) This basil has beautiful, ruffled, fragrant dark-purple leaves.  In the summer, the plants have lavender flowers. Plants are grown in 2.5” pots. All vegetable and herb plants are grown using organic methods.  All products will be available, while supplies last, beginning opening day (4th Tuesday of April) at Rooted For Good Kirkland (formerly Walnut Grove Vocational Farm) located at 33600 Pearl St. Kirkland, IL 60146.  Greenhouse closes the last Saturday in June.
